a. Exhibition Details
  What is the size of the AC dome structure?
    The AC dome super structure will be approximately 8000 square meters.
  What are the venues for the boat show?
    On Land Exhibition will take place at Bandra Kurla Complex, MMRDA ‘G’ Block.
On Water Display will take place adjacent to the Gateway of India.
  What is the total booth area at the boat show?
    The total booth area is 3000 square meters net.
  What facilities are provided at the venue?
    The facilities at the boat show will include a Cafeteria, Business Lounge with meeting rooms, Internet Café, Media room, Seminar room, Storage Area and Service Area.
  Will there be food & beverages available during the set up days / during the show?
    The cafeteria will be operational during set up days for exhibitors.
  Is there a parking area at the boat show venue?
    There is paid parking available at both the venues.
     
b. Sales Procedure
  How do I book my booth?
    To book your booth, contact the Sales Desk:

  Who allocates my space?
    Space allocations will be done by the Sales Team led by Tom Chant.
  Where will I get my contract and invoice from?
    The coordination for the contract and invoice will be processed by the SMIBS Team in Mumbai led by Radhika Jhaveri.
  What currency can I pay in?
    Payments can be made in INR, Euro, GBP or USD. International Exhibitors must pay in foreign currency in order to avail of the temporary duty free import of their goods. (Ref: ITPO License).
  Are there any discounts?
    Yes. There is an early bird discount for exhibitors.
  Do you have a recommended logistic agency?
    Yes, we have an official logistic agency. Contact details are available in the exhibitor section.
  Can I get temporary Octroi exemption for the articles exported to India to for the show?
    Yes. Under Form R, temporary deposit facility, you can avail of this exemption. For more details, please contact our official logistic agency.
     
c. Stand Specifications
  What is the standard booth area?
    A standard booth is 12 square meters, i.e. a 4 meters frontage and 3 meter depth. All booths will be sold in multiples of 4m x 3m.
  Is there an open area display like MIBS 2007?
    There is no open area display. However, there will be a theme landscaping area for activities.
  What are the types of schemes available?
    There are two types of booths available:
Open Scheme: Raw area with a carpet only.
Shell Scheme: With octonorm panels and basic furniture and electric points.

  How many days are allotted for booth fabrication?
    Open Scheme: The exhibitors can start building their booths at 6pm on February 25, 2008.
Shell Scheme: Booths will be made available on February at 9am on 27, 2008.
  How do I build my stand?
    If you have an open scheme, you can get in touch with the three recommended stand builders on the SMIBS Panel who will provide you with designs and quotes as per your requirements.
  What are the height restrictions for my booth?
    The height restriction for all booths are 2.5 meters. Any additional height requirements must be registered with the SMIBS Operations Team – operations@mumbaiboatshow.com. Only after confirmation from the operations team can you go ahead with the display.
  What are the weight limits for my product display?
    The weight limits are 150 kg per square meter. Any products with excess weight must be registered with the SMIBS Operations Team – operations@mumbaiboatshow.com. Only after confirmation from the operations team can you go ahead with the display.
  What kind of products can I display?
    All marine related products can be displayed. Any products of excess weight and dimensions must be registered with the SMIBS Operations Team – operations@mumbaiboatshow.com
  How many exhibitor passes am I entitled to? Where can I register the names?
    Please check the allowance chart to see how many passes you are entitled to. The details must be registered on the exhibitor section of the website.
  Can I buy an extra exhibitor badge?
    Extra exhibitor badges can be bought at the Rs. 800/- per badge at the venue itself of via the exhibitor section.
  How do I order service badges for my stand builders?
    Please check the allowance chart to see how many passes you are entitled to.
  What is the validity of the service badges?
    The service badges are valid ONLY on the following dates:
February 25, 2008 (6 p.m. onwards)
February 26, 2008
February 27, 2008 (Upto 4 p.m.)
March 2, 2008 (10 p.m. onwards)
March 3, 2008 (Upto 6 p.m.)
